KVV, a CBSE-affiliated institution, follows the NEP 2020 and NCF- based curriculum to ensure holistic development through a balance of academics, physical education, and emotional well-being. With activity-based learning, students engage in hands-on experiences to foster creativity, critical thinking, and skill development across scholastic and co-scholastic areas such as art, music, and sports. Timings
  1. All students of classes I to X must be in the school premises by 8.50 a.m.

  2. Generally students are expected to attend full day on any regular working day, unless there is an emergency or health issues. However , regularly whisking away the students after the examination on working days is not permitted.

  3. Late-coming to school often is viewed sternly.

Attire of Students
  1. Students must come to school in proper uniform and clean shoes every day.

  2. Girls must wear a black hair band in case of short hair. Shoulder length hair must be tied in two ponytails. Girls with long hair must make two plaits as part of the dress code.

  3. Boys must have a decent haircut regularly and keep the hair short and clean. Unkempt long hair, stylish cuts will not be entertained.

  4. Hair colouring, gold jewellery in any form, long nails, nail polish, huge ashy wrist watches or accessories for both girls and boys respectively is unacceptable.

  5. Students coming to school on non-instructional days must be only in SCHOOL UNIFORM (Red) with the Identity Card.

  6. Every student must carry his/her own daybook & identity card to school every day.

  7. Usage of mobile phones, I-pods, cameras or any other electronic gadgets by the students in the school is strictly prohibited. Any such devices found will be confiscated.

  8. Students should realize their responsibility to take care of school property & to keep their class room, school building & campus neat and clean.

  9. All students are expected to converse in English within the school premises and with the teachers.

  10. Using foul language and Bullying is strictly prohibited inside the premises and no such act will go unnoticed or unpunished.

  11. It is mandatory for students to attend special/remedial classes that have been scheduled in the student’s interest.

  12. Submission of assignments, projects, written activity, both classwork and homework for all subjects should be carried out on the specified date.

  13. PARENTS ARE EXPECTED TO ENSURE THAT STUDENTS COME IN PROPER UNIFORM & BEHAVE PROPERLY. WHEN THERE IS A DEFAULT IN UNIFORM THE PARENT SHOULD ATLEAST GIVE A LETTER ADDRESSED TO PRINCIPAL OR SEND A MAIL TO SCHOOL BEFORE 9.00AM.

Kanchi Vani Vidyalaya is committed to the prevention of child abuse and the protection of children in line with the United Nations convention on the rights of the child. Child protection policy helps to create a safe and positive environment for children.

Measures to Prevent Child Abuse

  1. All Staff are aware of the Child Protection Policy of Meenakshi Group of schools.

  2. Attempt to ensure that visitors to the school are accompanied by a Staff Member and a register is maintained to track the details of visitors and their movements within the school premises.

  3. CCTV cameras have also been installed in all vital locations in the premises of the school for safety and security of all concerned.

  4. Various committees including Grievance Redressal and POCSO are established to redress at the earliest.

  5. Complaint/Suggestion box is provided in the school.
